S-Satisfied, Sacrificial, Savior

The satisfaction of Jesus is a new thought for me. Jesus willingly surrendered to His Father's plan and became the "solution," the sacrifice for our sin. He grasped that his purpose in life was to be the Savior, but I don't know that I have ever associated the word satisfied with His phrase: "It is finished."
For me "It is finished" has always been more of a relief phrase! There is much joy in recognizing the comment in terms of being a statement of satisfaction for carrying out a plan to completion for our heavenly Father.

When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied.
Isaiah 53:11a
