Aperio

April 7
It is time to seek the Lord. Hosea 10:12

Aperio is the Latin word for April and it means to open.
Charles Spurgeon writes:
"This is the month of April...All the buds and blossoms are now opening, and we have arrived at the gates of the flowery season. Reader, if you are yet unsaved, may your heart, in accord with the universal blossoming flower warn you that it is time to seek the Lord. Do not be out of tune with nature, but let your heart bud and bloom with holy desires."

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come; the old has gone, the new is here!
2 Corinthians 5:17

Lord, spring is amazing! You are always up to something new! The redbuds out race the dogwoods and the daffodils dance before the tulips! Thank You for the exhilaration of spring!
Thank You also for your Word and how it thrills our hearts. We can be mumbly, we can be grumbly, but when we "open" Your Word, love spews out. We all long to be loved, but often are just looking for love in all the wrong places. When we look to You, You bring it on! We seek You now, in Jesus' Name, Amen
