Captivating Inner Beauty

August 26-28
Our grandson met this young lady at the park yesterday and was captivated by her. I watched as he inched himself closer and closer until they were almost nose to nose. (Her grandmother was a bit nervous, thinking he was going to lay a big kiss on her.) Before we left the park he said, "Do you want to come my to my house?"
Her stylish outfit, wasn't the drawing card moving this two year old to want to be face to face with this young lady. Inner beauty, as mentioned in 1 Peter 3:1 was the allure.

[ Cultivate Inner Beauty ] The same goes for you wives: Be good wives to your husbands, responsive to their needs. There are husbands who, indifferent as they are to any words about God, will be captivated by your life of holy beauty. What matters is not your outer appearance—the styling of your hair, the jewelry you wear, the cut of your clothes—but your inner disposition. 1 Peter 3:1

God desires to use our lives as a Christ captivating tool! May we be more concerned about what we are putting into the inside of our lives than our outer wear.
