The message at the end of this video is so true.

Friday I heard a message on the radio about “coming out of the darkness”. I can’t remember the verse or to whom we were listening. Searching the scriptures I did come across this passage in Isaiah which is quite appropriate for the battle being fought against darkness. Also the 1 Peter verse is a powerful reminder of who we are!
.

Isaiah 49:8-10 Restoration of Israel

This is what the LORD says: “In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances, to say to the captives, ‘Come out,’ and to those in darkness, ‘Be free!’“They will feed beside the roads and find pasture on every barren hill. They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat down on them. He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water.

1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Let's pray:
Father, how blessed we are to address You in that manner. How fortunate to be loved at a level which is beyond comprehension. May your children across this world remember today that they are a royal priesthood. May we act like a holy nation and shout praises to You throughout the day and not be drawn to the darkness which lacks joy and a heart desiring to serve the Lord. Right now in the mighty name of Jesus we unite to lift up those who are broken and being held captive. Loosen the chains which are holding them. Allow them to breathe in LIFE and seek Your face and Your purpose for their lives. Send someone today to befriend those who are hurting and lost, speaking truth with compassion to them. Give them ears to hear and a desire for Christian fellowship. We pray that You use the painfulness of this time in their lives to draw them to the place where You want them Father. You say to give thanks in all situations, so we thank You for the desert times and trust You to use those times to shape us because we know we are children You cherish. Place a hedge of protection around the hurting and keep them from harm in this molding process. It is with positive expectancy that we bring these requests, knowing You have been faithful time and time again. Do a mighty work in the lives of Your people today. We love You Lord. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!
