Windows

November 8
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Deuteronomy 31:8

The word from the Lord yesterday morning was "window". Taking that to Biblegateway, none of the 27 verses in the NIV seemed applicable. (Lordy, lordy, none of the three rooms which are demolished here have windows...pray, tell,....we are not supposed to put in a window are we?)
Certain of there was some relevance to the word, I decided to search The Message and there were to verses well worth chewing on today.

A person without self-control is like a house with its doors and windows knocked out. Proverbs 25:28

Your eyes are windows into your body. If you open your eyes wide in wonder and belief, your body fills up with light. If you live squinty-eyed in greed and distrust, your body is a dank cellar. If you pull the blinds on your windows, what a dark life you will have! Matthew 6:22

Before the sun was up and I was seeking the Lord for the purpose in the "window" word. Grabbing my camera, I decided to check out the view from a few windows in the house through the camera lens. I had contemplated that in life we have open windows, windows of opportunity, window views, Windows related to computers; there are window boxes, window coverings, window displays, window screens, window seats, and more. What I found in the photographs was encouragement through a reflective light which was apparent in all the photos. No matter which window I looked for the light of the Lord shined back, reminding me He is everywhere!
