Start Fresh

January 2

"The best way I know to face each day is to prepare the heart first thing in the morning."
Ravi Zacharias

What is your daily "fresh start" routine?
I've never had a cup of coffee in my life, but I've lived with some individuals whose eye balls don't open until their coffee is consumed.

Possibly a splash of cool water awakens you and prepares your mind to face the day.

God's Word is a
great place to start.

My grace is sufficient for you.
My strength is made perfect in weakness.
2 Cor. 12:9

Zephaniah 2:3 says to seek a quiet and disciplined life. An athlete training at the highest level is certainly disciplined, yet the training routine has variety.
Seek the Lord in new places this year. Let's reposition ourselves (or He may have already repositioned us) and hunger for His teachings. Maybe our college days are long gone, but this can be a new semester in living our lives for the Lord.

Pray: Lord, there is none like you. We will sing of your great love forever and our mouths will make your faithfulness know through all generations. The heavens praise your wonders and we will too. Find us faithful today Father. Thank You that our pasts are forgiven and today is filled with newness and the chance to be more like Christ. As yeast causes bread to rise, help us rise above circumstances and trust You to be our guide. Not in our strength, but by Your power your will be done this day. In Jesus Name, Amen.
