We Interrupt this Story...

We will return to our Epic  story on Monday, but there are times we just not to stop and rejoice!
Point your kids in the right direction-
when they're old they won't be lost.
Proverbs 22:6
September 15-16
It's time to rejoice with the angels in heaven!  This little one, a great niece of mine,  asked Jesus into her heart (all on her own) September 11th.  Our phone rang September 12th and this precious voice began to share the good news.  Just look at that smile!  Her parents have been praying for her since before she was born. They have made a very conscious effort to train her up in the ways of the Lord, so when God called to her in her bed last week...she answered.
The following day her mother was reading a book to her and in the back of it was a prayer for salvation.  Her mother explained that someday she might want to consider praying such a prayer.  To her mother's amazement, she shared, "Oh, I've already done that. I asked Jesus into my heart last night in my bed." "You did?"  a bit taken back, her mother exclaimed.
Signed, sealed, delivered...this one will be in heaven! PTL
There is a wonderful scriptural memory based program called AWANA, this child has been attending.  Now that she has started school they have also learned about the after school ministry called "Good News Clubs." What we pour into our children is what comes out.

Our two month old grandson just enrolled in his first Bible Study Fellowship class!  Say what?  Yes, it is true.  This long running international Bible study program has an amazing children's ministry.  During the time the mothers are digging deep into the study of scripture, volunteers for the infant class rock these little ones, while singing and praying God's word over them.

Today lets join together and pray for parents, grandparents, relatives, teachers and friends will take seriously the call to train up the next generations to love the Lord!
