Stop Stewing, Trust God and start Doing

But Jesus was matter-of-fact: "Yes-and if you embrace this kingdom life and don't doubt God, you'll not only do minor feats like I did to the fig tree, but also triumph over huge obstacles.  This mountain, for instance, you'll tell, 'Go jump in the lake,' and it will jump.  Absolutely everything, ranging from small to large, as you make it a part of your believing prayer, gets included as you lay hold of God."
Matthew 21:22 (MSG)

Oh we of little faith.  Moses learned there are consequences for our unbelief.  The Bible study I am currently in had a "stop you in your tracks" comment by Priscilla Shirer.
"Failure to do exactly what God asks, regardless of how strange or incomplete His instructions seem, shows lack of faith in God Himself. It shows we don't trust that He is God and knows what's best.  By not doing what He tells us, we are saying that we don't think God is wise enough or capable enough to handle our situations."

Oh, the times God has placed a request on my heart and I have stewed and stewed, not wanting to do it.
Sometimes I wonder if when I get to heaven it will be like watching a reply of God's version of  "Let's Make A Deal".  God will say, "If you had just done what I asked, look behind Door #1 and see whose life would have been changed."  Instead I ended up using Joe's life and look at the difference for the kingdom he made.
We stew and stagger in our steps to obedience because of concern for what others think, more than concern for what God thinks.  In the end, we miss the blessing.
