"Good-bye"

Walking with a girlfriend early one morning this week, I instituted my spiritual discipline group assignment of "flash prayers." Passing a house, where an elderly gentleman lives alone, I sensed the need to do a walk by shooting and out loud I shot up a prayer to God. The best part of the whole episode was at the end I said, "Good-bye," as if we were on a phone call with God.
It's nice to remember that God never hangs up…He hangs out waiting for communion with us.
