The Full Extent

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever-
the Spirit of truth.
The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him.
But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
John 14:16-17

How many things are sitting around your life that you do not use to the full extent?
I know my camera, phone and computer can do extensively more than I rely on them to do.
For those of us who have asked Jesus to be our Lord and Savior, we have a power supply, a friend, and a guide who often goes unused in our lives.  The Holy Spirit is hanging out 24-7, we need to call on him more.  My guess is most of us have not begun to tap into what is available to us through the Spirit.

Wisdom Hunters wrote today:
"The Spirit's fire enflames our faith to burn brightly in our submitted souls. He satisfies our thirsty spirit, heals our broken hearts, comforts us in our concerns, leads us through uncertainty and empowers us to engage the enemy with God's word and prayer.  The Spirit supports us when we lack the support of another.  He lives within us to be with us. The path to receiving the Spirit's support is belief, love and obedience."

The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.
 1 Corinthians 2:14
Today say to God…"Fill 'er up, Lord.  Fill me with the Spirit to the full extent possible!"
