Child Like Faith

"Sometimes you need to talk to a two-year-old
just so you can understand life again."

Oh, yeah, I will be getting me some baby love this weekend.  I'm heading off to grab some grands today and bringing them home to play!  The weather prediction for outside is frightfully cold, in the teens, but inside we will be warming things up!
Hopefully, we will talk about life and Jesus everyday!  I've laminated some heart shapes with scripture verses on them so we can play "Hide and Seek the Hearts."  If the NSA is peeking in, they will be finding praise parties in our pajamas in the bounce house with maracas and tambourines!
In Matthew 18:1-5 Jesus gives us some advice on Childlike faith!  This is the Message Translation.

At about the same time, the disciples came to Jesus asking, "Who gets the highest rank in God's kingdom?"  For the answer Jesus called over a child, whom he stood in the middle of the room, and said, "I'm telling you, once and for all, that unless you return to square one and start over like children, you're not even going to get a look at the kingdom, let alone get in. Whoever becomes simple and elemental again, like this child, will rank high in God's kingdom. What's more, when you receive the childlike on my account, it's the same as receiving me.
