Break My Heart with What Breaks Yours

June 9
The excitement was exhilarating, as if we had all just returned to summer camp after being apart for a year!  The setting…Women's Summer Bible study at Shiloh!  The rains let up enough for everyone to get out of their cars and come inside for supper.  Afterwards the praise began.
Our study is Nehemiah by Kelly Minter.  The topic…"A Heart that Breaks."  We sang "Open the Eyes of my Heart Lord" and then "What Faith Can Do" by Kutlass.  We finished by basking in praise through the words of the song "Hosanna!"

"I see the king of glory, coming on the clouds with fire.
The whole earth shakes, the whole earth shakes.

I see his love and mercy washing over all our sin.
The people sing, the people sing.

Chorus: Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest.

I see a generation, rising up to take their place.
With selfless faith, with selfless faith.
I see a near revival, stirring as we pray and seek.
We're on our knees. We're on our knees.

Chorus

Heal my heart and make it clean, Open up my eyes to the things unseen.
Show me how to love like you have loved me.
Break my heart for what breaks yours, everything I am for Your kingdom's cause.
As I walk from earth into eternity.

Chorus

Hosanna in the highest."

Let's pray today that we all can have compassionate hearts that break for the hurting.
