To Be…Beloved

Steal my heart away! This one knows he is loved.

"Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children."
Ephesians 5:1
April 12
"We are His beloved children- cared for, ransomed, welcomed, protected, defended, disciplined, and  comforted by a Father who goes before us. We are His beloved children, and that truth makes all the difference today if we let it sink in."  Ruth Chou Simons

Do you feel loved?  If you are spending anytime at all in God's Word, anytime in praise and worship, it would be hard not to experience the love of God.  Just taking a moment to process the sacrifice that was made equates to receiving a deep, deep love.

"In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins."  1 John 4:10

"For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, "Abba! Father!"  The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him."  Romans 8:15-17

Believe what is written:
"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light."  1 Peter 2:9

Let's personalize what Ruth Chou Simmons wrote.
Holy Spirit, move us to remember the times our heavenly Father has
Cared for us.
Ransomed us.
Welcomed us into His family.
Protected us.
Defended us.
Disciplined us with love.
Comforted us.

Holy Spirit move us to speak of these times to others and give testimony to God's love.
