To Be...Separated

Pray for Lee.
May 17
Another word was impacting me recently. Separated.
Not joined or touching physically.  Separation can be difficult.

A prayer request came for a young couple who had just experienced a miscarriage of twins.
My heart tugs every time I have to say good-bye to grandchildren.
Visiting with a close, close friend who is battling breast cancer had me not wanting to walk away.
We've walked alongside a child who has experienced the devastation of separation and divorce.

Yesterday, we received a huge heart tug, our one year old grandson in Tampa had fallen and was vomiting, so they took him to the ER.  CT scans last night showed he has a brain bleed. There was concern about a break in the neck, but that scan looks alright.  There will be an MRI at 7:30 this morning.  We hate living so far away from our children.  My husband had minor surgery two days ago and cannot travel for two weeks.  Fortunately, another son is scheduled to fly to Tampa this morning.

Oh, what peace and comfort we are given by these words in Hebrews 13:5

"God has said, 'I will never leave you or let you be alone.'"

I thank God for the angels watching over our grandchild.

Singing...
"Your Love Never Fails "
Jesus Culture
Nothing can separate Even if I ran away Your love never fails
I know I still make mistakes But You have new mercies for me everyday
Your love never fails
Chorus
You stay the same through the ages Your love never changes
And may be pain in the night But joy comes in the morning
And when the oceans rage I don't have to be afraid
Because I know that You love me Your love never fails
The wind is strong and the water's deep I'm not alone in these open seas
'Cause Your love never fails
The chasm is far too wide I never thought I'd reach the other side
'Cause Your love never fails
Chorus
