Provide

June 26

Stringing together the words which have come to me the past couple
weeks I'm reflecting on where the Lord is moving.
United....Loyalty....Deliver....and now Provide.
Some of Merriam-Webster's definitions for provide are as follows:
To take precautionary measures.
To make preparation to meet a need.
To supply something for sustenance or support
To prepare in advance
To make available

So hi-ho, hi-ho it's off to the scriptures we go!
Instead of "show me the money" ..."show me the meaning".
Precautionary Measure
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man.
And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond
what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide
a way out so that you can stand up under it.
1 Corinthians 10:13
Preparing to meet a need and supply sustenance.
(A sacrifice for our sin.)
The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of
his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had
provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the
Majesty in heaven.
Hebrews 1:2-3
To prepare in advance to make available.
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish
what is now being done, the saving of many lives. So then, don't be afraid.
I will provide for you and your children." And he reassured them and spoke
kindly to them. Joseph stayed in Egypt, along with all his father's family.
He lived a hundred and ten years.
Genesis 50:20-22

Putting the pieces together I believe The Great I Am wants us to
remember to be loyal to Him as we believe by faith He is still on the throne
and He will always be our peace, our protection, and our provision.
He will deliver us from the snares which so easily entrap us, but we are to
be wise and on the alert for spiritual danger, rounding up our wagons with
fellow believers and battling together. Then we gather round the camp fire
breaking bread together and singing songs which lift our spirits high.
