Push Us Along

The Load of Life
April 2-3
Looking out the window a small boat could be seen pushing a pile driving barge, loaded with wood, out of our cove. The captain must have forgotten his lunch and left work for a break, as he was heading back in the cove in less than an hour! As I watched him trudging along, I thought about how similar our lives appear at times. We are loading down, moving ahead slowly and trusting in our Captain Christ to carry the burden for us and get us to our destination.

Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. Psalm 68:19
