Stress Fractures

March 1st
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

What are the chances that after spending a couple hours with the Lord and being led to write on the "Stress Fractures of Life" and casting all our anxiety upon Him; I would get an email from my niece with a picture of her five year old son, smiling in his "cast" as he recovers from a broken hand!!!!!
Now his younger sister, whom his mother acknowledged as occasionally adding a little sassafras to life, is doing her part to keep him distracted during this healing period.
Life is full of stress and it can fracture lives and relationships, thus Jesus warns against it.
His Word brings not only a heaping of hope, but peace and refreshment to weary souls.

Peace is a process and it comes with conditions.
Do not be anxious about anything,
but in every situation, by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God,
which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

Some conditions:
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him;
do not fret when men succeed in their ways.
Psalm 37:7
But I trust in you, Lord; I say,
You are my God. My times are in your hands.
Psalm 31:14-15a

"The happiest people I know are the ones who have...given the worrisome, stress-filled details of their lives into God's keeping." Charles R. Swindoll
