The Responsibility of Instructing

December 29-30
Paul, took God's purpose for his life passionately, passing on to us through the Word, the seriousness of our responsibility to teach, train and instruct!

Fathers, do not exasperate your children;
instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
Ephesians 6:4

Teach them to stay in the Word...
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord....
and shower them with love, encouraging them along the way!

In Titus chapter 2...

Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled,
and sound in faith,in love and in endurance...

Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled.
7 In everything set them an example by doing what is good.
Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live,
not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good.

Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children,
to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind,
and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.

Micah 6:8
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
