There's More to Come, Buddy!

We named this yellow butterfly "Buddy" a few years ago.
Yes, I know it's not the same butterfly,
but the grands love thinking he has been faithfully watching over us.

July 26
I was praying for someone who trusts without a doubt that God is working all things together for good and shaping them more and more into the image of Christ, although the process hasn’t been pleasant. I wanted a verse to pray over them and thought of Romans 5:4-5.  I first looked it up in the NIV, but just had to share The Message translation as our Bible Study has been in a praise and prayer mode.

"There's more to come:  We continue to shout our praise even when we're hemmed in with troubles, because we know ow troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this,  we're never left feeling shortchanged.  Quite the contrary-we can't round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!"
                                                                                Romans 5:4-5

Amen?  Absolutely, AMEN!  May God find us all living in alert expectancy today!

Now, off for my walk.  Buddy the butterfly is waiting. Yesterday, he followed us on a three mile walk!
