Love-Goodness Gracious

February 6

Goodness gracious!  God's grace is an extravagant gift, given and poured out through the blood of Jesus.

God's Word tells us to judge not, and we will not be judged,
Condemn not, and we will not be condemned.
Forgive, and we will be forgiven. (Luke 6:37)
When we give grace to others, we experience God's grace at an even higher level.

What is your favorite Bible story exhibiting these characteristics?

Who have we judged lately?
Who have we hoped would be condemned?
Who have we thought undeserving of God's forgiveness?

We want to taste grace. Then we should want to offer grace.

God's grace is upon us in unmerited favor!  Goodness gracious, it's a lot of love!

Priscilla Shirer wrote: "Our God does not give to us in scanty, meager proportions, but in overflows, abundances, and excesses.  He gives back much more than our meager outlay would merit, but He does it so that there's enough left over to spare-enough to prime the pump for the next go-around."
