Tuning Out the Turmoil


 We had visitors on our floats and our 4 year old granddaughter wanted to join their fun!


It was a go away with Jesus to the porch day.  The ceiling fan thrust out a delightful breeze, but there was a devil dart.  Construction had started up somewhere close by in the cove and the machinery noise was none stop.  Are you kidding me?

I had a choice.  Go back inside or tune out the turmoil with my AirPods and put on the praise, before I made a choice then it was noon!  Lunch break! The equipment turned off and once again I only heard the birds.

Our world is full of distractions.  We must choose what we will focus upon.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8
