Toast

July 6th
Unable to sleep I tried counting sheep...not really.
What I did was go to Philippians 4:8 and do what it says.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble,
whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is
admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Somewhere in there the Lord gave me the word toast.
Once again He has baffled me, but I am listening.

The definition which seems most fitting to the Lord is:
One that is highly admired. Example: She is the toast of the town.
The other interesting option is the slang: One that is finished or done for.
Example: Satan is going to be toast!

Here are two fun verses from The Message. I pray they warm your heart...
He has certainly made me smile at 2AM. Maybe I am to make some toast
before I head back to bed!

Psalm 116:12
What can I give back to God for the blessings he's poured out on me? I'll lift high the cup of salvation—a toast to God! I'll pray in the name of God; I'll complete what I promised God I'd do, and I'll do it together with his people.
