More From the Mt Tour
October 24
As we traveled, awed around every curve at what our eyes beheld, we shared how secure we feel in the mountains. We reflected that while standing gazing out upon an ocean you realized the immensity and power of God, you are very vulnerable out there in the open. (Unless it is a rocky shoreline with places to hide.) Enemies are scouted out and battles are launched from the mountain tops. Refuge in found in mountain caves! Oh, Lord, I thank you for the mountains.
It was 46 degrees and windy….brrrr on the top of this mountain!
The vistas and burst of color were magnificent.
The name of this overlook is "Lover's Leap".
You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God our Savior,
the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas,
who formed the mountains by your power, having armed yourself with strength,
who stilled the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations.
Psalm 65:5-7
