Sifting

April 30

"Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back,
strengthen your brothers."
Luke 22:31-21

I seldom use a sifter anymore. The one I have was my grandmother's and
has a crank handle that causes the metal blade to spread against the
wire bottom pressing the flour through making it FINE!

Yes, Sir, we need to see our pressing times as God's way of making us
fine!

Let's Pray: Shine Jesus, shine...(are those song lyrics)?
You are the God of glory and we thank You that we like Peter can find
comfort in knowing You are with us so we will not fail in persevering through
the tough times. Keep refining us Lord, so we will be so fine in Your sight.
Help us to feel Your love and see the benefits in the process.
In Jesus' Name, Amen
