To Be...a person who learns from HIStory.

These girls knew how to have fun.

Somehow I forgot to post these pics back when the snow was falling! We are in for a strand of temps in the mid 90's the next few days here in Virginia. I'll be thinking of snow!
Historic photos can stir such an array of emotions. The two gals being towed behind the car could easily be my mother and one of her college buddies!

History teaches! HIStory teaches as well.
The Bible is a very old book that is very relevant for today and for tomorrow. All we have to do is open it and we learn an applicable lesson if we allow our hearts and minds to absorb what we are reading.
Today's Biblegateway verse holds a very teachable truth.
"Make a clean break with all cutting, backbiting, profane talk. Be gentle with one another, sensitive. Forgive one another as quickly and thoroughly as God in Christ forgave you." Ephesians 4:32 MSG
So, let's equip ourselves with the Holy Spirit and whether it's the SLOW drive through person, who gets our order wrong, the neighbor whose trash can blew over and left an array of garbage on our lawn, the boss who is going to drop a load of paperwork on our desk making it difficult to get away on time this afternoon, or the spouse who hits us with that "change of plans" we can learn to love and forgive like Jesus with JOY! It's possible to make a history ourselves that has a positive impact on another.
