To Be....In Relationship
In a current summer study I'm involved in we are studying what it means "To Be" women, who love the Lord.
Women who have chosen an intentional relationship with our heavenly Father.
Women who have chosen an intentional relationship with our heavenly Father.
“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! (1 John 3:1) Peter Lord wrote this confession for us to exclaim in his book Bless and Be Blessed.
"Right now, I am a child of God. He is my Abba Father in heaven. He has given me his life; I am born from above with his quality of life. I was spiritually dead and unable to relate to him. Now, I am spiritually alive and able to communicate, commune, and have fellowship with him as a love child with a great and good Father.”
Because of who we are in Christ, this is how we should live and build up the Kingdom.
Because of who we are in Christ, this is how we should live and build up the Kingdom.
“But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.” Hebrews 13:13
“Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit-you choose.” Proverbs 18:21 MSG
“Gentle words cause life and health; griping brings discouragement.” Proverbs 15:4
Speak a good word to someone today. And let's be continually putting in the good Word as we have relationship with Christ.
Example:
“Every time we think of you, we thank God for you. Day and night you’re in our prayers as we call to mind your work of faith, your labor of love, and your patience of hope in following our Master, Jesus Christ, before God our Father. It is clear to us, friends, that God not only loves you very much but also has put his hand on you for something special.”
1 Thessalonians 1:2-4
Pray
Father, it is the desire of our hearts to encourage one another daily. Guard our mouths and fill us with Your Holy Spirit so that we speak words that are life giving. We lift up to you now those relationships in which we need to be intentional to bless another with our words. Thank You for calling us Your own. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
