Projections/Predictions

September 3
Have you ever planned an outdoor wedding? You go daily to the weather channel, as many days out as you can, to get the prediction for the big day.
Do you know any sports fanatics?  They study team rosters, the health, happiness and attitude of the players and gobble up every bit of info from the message boards looking to project the outcome of an upcoming game.
How about pregnancies...before ultrasounds predicting the sex of the baby was a fun, then there are predictions of the day of delivery and the weight.

Webster's defines prediction: to declare or indicate in advance; especially: foretell on the basis of observation, experience, or scientific reason.

Projection is defined as: an estimate of future possibilities based on a current trend.

From his experience as a follower of Christ and obviously one of the most inspired writers of the Bible, Paul writes of a couple projections/predictions

For we will all stand before God's judgment seat. It is written: "As surely as I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God."  So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.  Romans 14: 10-12

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.   Philippians 2:9-11

Below is Chris Tomlin's song called, All Bow Down.  One day we will.
