  Fellow Princess Warriors loved by God,   We need to pray for peace in Israel and I know you all are doing just that. Saturday morning I awakened in the middle of the night from a nightmare.  We were under attack by terrorists and in my dream my husband was going to fight and I had to pack up our children and flee. I was packing our old station wagon with supplies of what cash we had on hand, food, water, clothing and blankets for our children.  I had been instructed to not take my phone or computer where we could be tracked.  Fortunately, I had an old road map of the US.  In the dream, we had heard that boats and cars filled with explosives had been used to blow up large gathering places like concert gatherings and football stadiums.   I'm off on a baby sitting gig and haven't made the time to write.  Here is yesterday's Bible promise from 365 Promises. Promise #278: You are My workmanship, created in Christ to do My good works. A huge baby sitting perk at our daughter's home is watching the magnificent sunsets behind the mountain!  We have the flip side of that 2 miles away at our home on the water.   Behind the shades! We all know we are being watched at most every turn in life.  Right now there is a computer camera staring at me in my nightgown.  We have security cameras throughout our property that catch us in embarrassing moments and grandchildren doing silly things much more often than property offenders. Look up at your next stoplight and wave at the camera. I chuckled recently when a girlfriend shared she and her husband were hesitant to be intimate after he had a heart monitor implanted.  She said, "Do you think it has a camera?" We are being watched in another very impactful way. We are being watched by our children and grandchildren on how to navigate life!  I think I've share that with the knee pain I battle it is much less painful to walk down the stairs backwards, so that is what I do.  Three of our grandchildren follow suit when they are with me.   One of our sons with his 3 year old daughter, coming in last in a fun run at the school where he is Dean of Students and an English professor. Whether it's learning to dress themselves, attempt the arduous task of  threading a needle on my sewing machine,  trying to get up on a wake board, or catch a fish. Often I can be heard singing, "Never, never, never give up.  Just keep on trying, soon you'll be flying if you never, never, never give up." One morning as I was "being still" I had the revelation that there are also times in life we need to wisdom to know when to quit.  That particular evening my husband would be working out our church's Recovery Church for people struggling with addictions and those who love and want to encourage them.   Popping onto Pandora's Contemporary Christian Radio station I was introduced to a new CCM duo. Caleb and John.  The song playing caught my eye for the title included one of my favorite words Hallelujah!   These two young men have finally "made it" in the music world by getting their first record deal.  Whether someone is a professional athlete, an actor, writer, musician, an artist or anyone climbing to the top of their profession there's no guarantee they will get "the break" they are dreaming of like these two have. “Hallelujah Feeling” is based on Romans 15:13, Caleb & John say it's their declaration of their intentional belief that Jesus is the answer.  I pray that God, who gives hope, will bless you with complete happiness and peace because of your faith.
