James 1:26-27
If anyone considers himself religious and
yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue,
he deceives himself and his religion is
worthless. Religion that God our Father
accepts as pure and faultless is this: to
look after orphans and widows in their
distress and to keep oneself from being
polluted by the world.
Funny...the song that came to mind after
reading this passage was....Whistle While
You Work! We are better off whistling
than allowing some things to come out of
our mouths when we are out and about.
No matter the outcome of the election,
there will still be the work of the Lord to
do and we still need to Be joyful always,
pray without ceasing and in all things
give thanks. 1 Thes. 5:16-18
God have mercy on us and keep us from
the pollution of this world!
