Last night as we were devouring some delicious desserts with this buttermilk base the word for today's devotional came to me...richness. Life lead by the Holy Spirit has a unique richness. Recognizing the voice of God and the depth of his love is a rich experience.
Heading out for my quiet time this morning I was once again blown away by how God is at work revealing Himself to me over and over again in the simplest of ways. I opened a devotional book and there staring at me, causing my mouth to fall open was... 1 Corinthians 1:5
For in him you have been enriched in every way.
Praising the Lord for another godincident I decided to celebrate by having a piece of blueberry pound cake made with fresh buttermilk for breakfast! :)
I can't even remember where we were to be today in our New Testament journey, but let's pause here with Paul in 1 Corinthians.
For in him you have been enriched in every way—in all your speaking and in all your knowledge— because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you. Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.
I must confess, those words hold within them a richness that even Homestead Creamery products can't touch.
