Unprecedented Abandon
knows everything about you and loves you with unprecedented abandon."

"Our Lord does not care so much for the importance of our works
as for the love with which they are done.
Teresa of Avila
In everything we have won more than a victory, because of Christ who loves us.
I am sure that nothing can separate us from God's love.
Romans 8:37-38

How has your "love" month unfolded? Did you get a Valentine? The mail didn't run here on Thursday or Friday with our storm. Did you send a Valentine?
I had the most romantic Valentine's week ever. We received 18" of snow here at Shiloh, my husband closed school for 3 days and we played in the snow! The roads cleared in time to get out and enjoy a delicious Valentine's dinner with goat cheese french toast, covered in sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions and topped with a sunny side up spring egg. w00t! It was out of this world.
As incredible as all those moments were, I still longed for my Jesus time. To sing praise to the Lord, worship him with gladness and watch the written Word light up our soul is truly an indescribable love. May we find time everyday to sneak away and experience this kind of unprecedented abandon. May we know Christ with the confidence that reminds us we will be able to do this for all of eternity!
