Woke Up Whistling

More wedding shots. We sat on hay bales covered in quilts.

October 18
One night last week I had a fabulous night's sleep and woke up whistling to the Lord. The first tune was an original and then I broke into an old hymn...."Up From the Grave He Arose!"
What an awesome way to start a day.

Biblegateway is encouraging today as well.

"I'm sure now I'll se God's goodness in the exuberant earth.  Stay with God! Take heart. Don't quite.
I'll say it again: Stay with God."  Psalm 27:14 MSG

Right now, in this very moment, we are with You, God. Show us the way for this day.

To Be God-inside-minded we ask:
"Lord, Your searchlight penetrates my human spirit, exposing every hidden motive.  You actually gave me Your Spirit (not the world's spirit) so I can know the wonderful things You have given us. I am a child of God, born of the Spirit of God, filled with the Spirit of God, and led by the Spirit of God.  I listen to my heart as I look to the Spirit inside me." In Jesus' Name. Amen"

In the current study Im doing on John, through Bible Study Fellowship, we are taking a look at John the Baptist and how he enthusiastically steps back from his ministry to usher Jesus' ministry in.  He explains that Jesus comes to give us a spiritual birth! Unlike the physical birth from our mothers, only Jesus can deliver the Spirit of God into our lives.  May we be conscious today to be led by that Spirit.
It's the best way to go.
