Treasure Hunts
This clue was found on Papa's Potty!
January 4
Treasure hunts have been a favorite activity in the Andrews home for the past 30 some years. They have come in various forms! This past week we had an indoor one and the funniest clue location was on Papa's potty seat!
We have no clue what God is up to, for His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways not our ways, but we can seek Him for the answers. In Sarah Young's devotional book Jesus Always, she writes in the voice of Jesus: "I untangle your thoughts and help you view things more biblically."
"My Word is a lamp to guide your feet and a light to your path." Psalm 119:105
Looking for things/people/scripture that we treasure comes naturally. The instinct is purposely designed by God, who knows that the yearning will lead us to our greatest treasure, Jesus!

"Be generous. Give to the poor. Get yourselves a bank that can't go bankrupt, a bank in heaven far from bankrobbers, safe from embezzlers, a bank you can bank on. Its obvious, isn't it? The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being." Luke 12:33-34
