While visiting a dairy farm recently, we came home and turned into cows ourselves.

Today's Merriman Webster word of the day is junket-"a trip made at another's expense."
For those of us who love the Lord and call Him Savior. We have an amazing trip to heaven awaiting us and it is only made available at the expense of Christ's sacrifice!!!!
In 1 Corinthians 6 & 7 Paul is preaching on sexual purity and marriage. In both incidences he reminds believer that "...you were bought at a price."

"Now that we are set right with God by means of this sacrificial death, the consummate blood sacrifice, there is no longer a question of being at odds with God in any way. If, when we were at our worst, we were put on friendly terms with God by the sacrificial death of his Son, now that we're at our best, just think of how our lives will expand and deepen by means of his resurrection life! Now that we have actually received this amazing with life with God, we are no longer content to simply say it in plodding prose. We sing and shout our praises to God through Jesus, the Messiah!
1 Peter 1:18-21 gives another reminder of the payment made for the junket which lies ahead and the peace we can experience now by knowing the payment has been made.
"Your life is a journey you must travel with a deep consciousness of God. It cost God plenty to get you out of that dead-end, empty-headed life you grew up in. He paid with Christ's sacred blood, you know. He died like an unblemished, sacrificial lamb. And this was no afterthought...God always knew he was going to do this for you. It's because of the sacrificed Messiah, whom God then raised from the dead and glorified, that you trust God, that you know you have a future in God.

I don't know what trips you have on your calendar this summer, but I do know for those of us saved by God's grace through Christ Jesus, we have quite the unimaginable journey ahead and the cost of this junket has been paid in full! Now that's a reason to get up and do your hallelujah dance!
