From the Cradle to the Cross

Our grandchildren love to have treasure hunts in hopes that the treasure contains toys, candy or money and a trip to the local Arcade. The phrase from the cradle to the cross came to me as I was thinking up a treasure hunt for our upcoming Cousins' Christmas sleep over.

It began with the thought we could have a candy cane hunt, then I realized some of them do not like peppermint, so it shifted to ordering creches with baby Jesus.  Next...the victory process began in the manger, led to a cross and was completed with our risen Lord.

"The manger dares us to believe the best is yet to come." Max Lucado

The manger is just the beginning of a magnificent future for all who believe.

Tell the whole story this season!

It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost. 1 Timothy 1:15
