From a hole to a heart.
May 25
Today I am ready to dig into the Word refreshed by what God showed me out my window this morning. Yesterday was a tough day as I received news that exploratory surgery showed a precious prayer partner of mine, who has battle cancer for six years, now has cancer in her bones.
I shared with her that as I sat on my screened porch praying for her yesterday morning I looked out towards the lake to where three very tall trees stood clambering together and there in the midst of their green foliage was a circular hole where I could see right through to the sky. My heart sank and I said, "Lord, is that to remind me there is a hole being cut into Kaye right now, or does it mean there is cancer eating holes in her body?" Stopping to listen for God's response He gently placed this on my mind, "No, my child. That hole is there as a window to heaven to remind you the best is yet to come for all of you who love the Lord." This morning as I look out at the hole, it looks more like a heart shape than a circle. God's love is amazing! He shows up all the time! I will post this picture.
We will get back to the Bible tomorrow, but I had to share this God moment with you.
