Our Attitude
Celebrating early with these five! (The baby just hasn't appeared yet, but he's there.)
December 24-25
Christmas in Florida with palm trees blowing in 80 degree temps takes some attitude adjustment. We kept saying, "It sure doesn't feel like Christmas." The inflatable snowmen in the yards really confused me. But Christmas can happen anytime, anywhere, because it happens in your heart.

"Make your own attitude that of Christ Jesus, who existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God as something to be used for His own advantage. Instead, He emptied himself by assuming the form of a slave, taking on the likeness of men...He humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death." Philippians 2:5-8
I've loved taking time this month to reflect on why God chose to come to earth in human form. He didn't come as a super hero. He didn't use his infinite power to be an oppressive king or have others bow before Him. (We will willingly fall on our faces before Him when we see him.) He came to save the children He loves so dearly. What a compassionate attitude.
May our attitudes reflect the need to open the gift of salvation!
