To Be...Trapped
The other day we pulled up our private road and were brought to a standstill!

Showstopper! There was no getting around this 36 inch diameter, fallen tree on our road. There are three homes at the end of our road and eleven of us where trapped!
Fear is a trap!
Sin is such a trap!
"Sinners are trapped and caught by their own evil deeds." Proverbs 5:22
Just as we had people come and rescue us from the fallen tree dilemma, we who know the Lord are called to help others trapped in sin to get back on the right path.
"My friends, you are spiritual. So if someone is trapped in sin, you should gently lead that person back to the right path. But watch out, and don't be tempted yourself." Galatians 6:1
Father, You send Jesus to set the captives free. Hallelujah! Help us be Holy Spirit driven and able to stay alert and free from the traps the enemy sets for us. Guard our hearts, our minds and our tongues that they may not be led into temptation and sinful behavior. Give us compassion for others and in love speak a truth and pray prayers that might persuade them to turn away from sin and set themselves on the "right path" which is pleasing to You. In Jesus' Name, Amen
