Oops! It's Not My Crown

When our five year old granddaughter was walking out the door to head home the other day grabbing the crown on her head she said, "Oops!  It's not my crown" and handed the crown to me.

The crown had been sitting in our kitchen for a week and every time I saw it I thought..."What am I picking up that isn't mine.  What am I carrying away from a gathering, that I should be laying down."

Burdens and worries came to mind first. Relationships and healings I want to fix, but only Jesus can. God loves to carry our burdens, it's a breeze for him, so let's lay them down.

Cast your burdens on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.  Psalm 55:22
