The Receivers
While a QB can run the ball himself, the majority of the time it's another player who receives the ball, either through a pass or a hand off.
In parenting and grand parenting the children in our care need to receive a lot of care. Bathing, changing, dressing, feeding, and training.
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
When it comes to all that we have received from God, it's difficult for our minds to grasp the outpouring.
We are blessed to receive God's love.
John 4:7–12
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
We are blessed to receive God's Word
Proverbs 2:1-5
My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you, making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.
We are blessed to receive God's grace.
