Body Parts
A young man was at our home to discuss a maintenance need. Our discussion wandered off topic and he shared how he had a wife of "pure heart" but in all his years loving Jesus he still struggles daily to live without sinning. My response, "We all carry that struggle and have to confess our short comings again and again."
After he left, I thought back to a list of scriptures I had put together on praying for our body parts. I challenge you to take these verses and turn them into prayers.
Body
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Mind
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2
Eyes
I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a young woman. Job 31:1
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Proverbs 121:1-2
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:8
Ears
Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many. Proverbs 4:10
Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. Matthew 7:24

Then don't say cruel things and don't tell lies. Psalm 34:13
Hands
My lips will pour forth praise, for you teach me your statutes. My tongue will sing of your word, for all your commandments are right. Let your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts. Psalm 119:171-173
Feet
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. Psalm 119:105
Do not turn to the right or to the left; Turn your foot from evil. Proverbs 4:27
Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Proverbs 4:26
Digestive System
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31
Heart

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13
Create in me a pure hert, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
