Even When We Don't See It
I’ve learned over the years to let God make the seating arrangements for gatherings at Shiloh, by having people draw tags from a bowl for table assignments. I want to give Him glory for one of the things He was up to at a women's event this summer.
At the kitchen table sat a woman who had come for her first time. Tearfully, she shared that her husband has just been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Right across the table another woman compassionately shared that her husband received the same diagnosis last year. The first woman said, “We must connect.”
Then we headed outside and people sat wherever they wanted. I randomly paired people up in 2’s, 3’s to pray together. This new woman was sitting next to another woman she had never met and shared the request for her husband. This woman shared that she is a nurse with certification for working with Parkinson’s patients.
Go God!
Chill bumps just ran over me again as I typed this testimony of the goodness of God and how He is always at work.
"Even when we don’t see it, He’s working!
But Jesus replied, "My Father is always working, and so am I." John 5:17
