Just Worship
I'm thinking back to when my husband had a much welcomed day off.
Throughout the day I threw out a multitude of, "Do you want to's."
Do you want to go for a walk?
Do you want breakfast now or brunch later?
Do you want to take a nap?😉
Do you want to go for a boat ride?
Do you want to go out to eat?
Do you want to watch a show?
Never once did I say, "Do you want to just sit and worship the Lord?"
Out of the 15 hours we were awake together we didn't pray, beyond the blessings for our meals, or sit together and worship the Lord.
We have another chance today. May we be found faithful to take a ten minute getaway with Jesus today and just worship.
