This time of year calls for gatherings.  Some we look forward to and others we wish we didn't have to attend. Many people dread the questions from strangers, distant family members they haven't seen for years or individuals they are meeting because they have married into a family. The first uncomfortable question usually posed is  "What do you do?" That stirs emotions and anxiety in itself.  Oh, the pressure. The other two awkward ones are "Are you married yet?" and "Do you have children?"

The next time someone says, "What do you do?" Simply reply, "I praise the Lord!"

A Christian comedian had an Instagram post sharing he was walking along a street street and a man walked past and whispered, "Do you know Jesus?"

He said it took him so off guard he said to the man, "What did you ask me?"  The man repeated, "Do you know Jesus?" He answered, "Yes, I know Jesus." The guy said, "You're good." And walked on.

The comedian said, "He's sniping Jesus!"

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:33-34
