Pre-Game Prayer Week 4
Due to the weather forecast we are not making the five hour trek east to the game to tonight knowing it could be postponed. We have to be here at church for our annual Fall Festival early Saturday morning and wouldn't be able to stay for a Saturday game. So we will cheer from our living room listening to a live broadcast.
The Lord gave me a great verse and word for this week's pregame prayer.
and when you turn to the right and when you turn to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, 'This is the way. Walk in it." Isaiah 30:21
Tenacious is a mostly positive term. If someone calls you tenacious you're probably the kind of person who never gives up and never stops trying –Someone who does whatever is required to accomplish a goal. Hmm...the definition said, "You may also be very stubborn."
Another grandson is running cross country for the first time and that verse and the word tenacious are perfect for him as well.
Who are you cheering on this weekend? It may not be sports related. My husband has been praying over a woman who is actively dying for days. She is so ready to see Jesus face to face.
I was blessed to visit and encourage a friend who has made a major move from one state to another. We celebrated her new home, kind neighbors, and that she has already found a church.
Two friends from church are tenaciously fighting eye disease and are blessed to have wives who are cheering them on and continually looking for the best medical advances that could aid God in the healing process.
When we seek the Lord he will show us the way to go.
