Prep Work

October 7

Do you ever sense God is preparing you for something to come?
Every time I stirred during the night the following song by
Sidewalk Prophets was on my mind.
"These Are the Words"
Be strong in the LORD and, Never give up hope,
You're going to do great things, I already know,
God's got His hand on you so, Don't live life in fear,
Forgive and forget, But don't forget why your here,
Take your time and pray,
These are the words I would say

Prepare to make ready beforehand for some purpose, use, or activity.

There are some fabulous verses, which should thrill our hearts when it comes
to the theme of God and preparation!
John 14:2
In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so,
I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.

Ephesians 2:10
For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us to do.

We share the work load and have responsibilities as children of the Living King.
1 Peter 3:15
But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to
give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope
that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

Let's Pray: Lord, You have prepared this day and have it
under Your control. While we can not fathom Your ways, we can trust them.
As the song lyrics say...we can be strong in You and never give up hope.
You have great things for us to do and great things for us to come!
So we open this day and pray for Your guidance every step of the way.
We love You Lord and are amazed by the way You love us.
In Jesus' Name, Amen
