Here we go again. A word comes to mind and you ask...is that You Lord impressing this upon my heart? Fit. We hear it, but would that be the noun, verb, adjective form or maybe an acronym?
Are we to get going and exercise? Is there an adaptation needed or a home repair waiting? Do we need to clean up so the house is fit for company? Will there be an occurrence in our path today that tempts us to throw a fit? Oh, here's a possibility...suppose we go shopping and find some items which fit!
A wise move to make is to take that word to the Word and see how God speaks.

Going back to the Budweiser commercial which said, "This Bud's for you," the Lord works in a similar way when we search His Word and will say..."This verse is for you." Draw close to Him, for He is close to you!
Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright
to praise him. Psalm 33:1
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Ephesians 6:14-16
The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21
Still another said, "I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say good-by to my family." Jesus replied, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God." Luke 9:61-62
