Things That Are No Longer

I'm envious of our Minnesota grandson who scored a Choco-Taco last week.

Fox News reported:
"Forget the housing market…the demand of Klondike’s discontinued Choco Taco has skyrocketed with sellers asking for hundreds of dollars for the rare ice-cream treat.
On Monday, Facebook Marketplace in the Los Angeles area listed several Choco Tacos for sale.
The lowest advertised price was $25 and the highest price was a box of Choco Tacos at $500 each."

It was a sad, sad day when our neighborhood pharmacy shut down their soda fountain and cherry smashes were a thing of the past.  Then I remember when Arby's did away with the Swiss King Sandwich. Roast beef, swiss cheese and slaw. I don't think I've ever gone back to an Arby's.

What do you long for?  Earthly things will pass away, now fashions may resurface if you wait long enough, but God's love for us and his unfathomable mercies never come to an end. Now that's a reason to shout "Hallelujah"

Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 1 Corinthians 13:8

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; great is your faithfulness.  Lamentations 3:22-23

The Song
