Clean Up...in My Heart

Andrews baby #5 learned how to clean up as soon as he could walk.

Y"all, I'm laughing looking back at this photo which was taken in our kitchen.  Hmm, did I really have a child sleeping in that porta-crib in the kitchen.  And we are not talking about an only child, this would have been numbers 5 and 6. Oh yes, and I see the crib was also a coat rack. Lawsie, lawsie, by the grace of God we all survived.

Generous in love—God, give grace! Huge in mercy—wipe out my bad record. Scrub away my guilt, soak out my sins in your laundry. I know how bad I’ve been; my sins are staring me down. Psalm 51:2  The Message

I've spent more time recently cleaning up our house than cleaning up my heart.

Forgive me God, help me turn from my wicked ways, from my grumbling heart and wash my sins away. In Jesus' Name, Amen
